Five Habits of a Straight A Student
1. Plan Ahead
Straight A students have a plan of what homework they’ll do each night, doing less homework but daily will ensure you are able to put your best effort into each assignment and will reduce stress.
2. Don’t study at Home
I learned this way too late in my time as a student. Find a coffee shop or a library and make that your study space. Your brain will get in the habit of going into work mode when you’re in this space and improve your focus. Your bedroom is your rest space and you will have a hard time focusing there.
3. Stay Organized
Your backpack is your filing cabinet. I suggest opting to have ONE SMALL NOTEBOOK FOR EACH CLASS this will be sooo much better than having one huge notebook where you cannot find anything. Have one folder for each class, and a daily planner.
4. Take Study Breaks
1 hour no phone, then 15 minute break. Repeat. If you’re temped, delete the social media apps on your phone until you leave your study space. You’ll be less inclined to pick it up.
5. Handwrite

Make a study guide with different colored pens & highlighters. After that, make flashcards. You’ll see that once you do those two steps, you already know the information.
