Carrying a “purse”
I was NEVER the purse girl. I could not get myself to be comfortable with carrying around a purse and keeping up with it, but every girl has basic needs that should come with her everywhere she goes. After receiving the Louis Vuitton Sperone backpack for Christmas, I have discovered that I am definitely a backpack girl. I will probably swear by backpacks until further notice and I eventually graduate to purses. This is my list of things that must follow me everywhere I go.
Makeup Essentials
In your purse you gotta have your staple makeup items, you never know when they might come in handy. I do not leave my house without the Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer, Essence Mascara, Blush, and my travel sized Bobbi Brown shimmer brick and Tarte Pro To-go. Do not just have these laying around, they’ll destroy the inside of your bag, keep a makeup bag.
Perfume Deodrant and Gum
Smelling bad, and KNOWING you smell bad is top 10 on the list of the worst feelings ever. Chanel no. 5 comes with me everywhere I go.
Mophie Phone Case (Portable Charger)
Your phone dying in public is downright annoying, and pretty dangerous! They have really cute portable chargers at Urban Outfitters.
Card Case
I swear by having a card case as opposed to a wallet, it’s so much easier to keep up with and takes up less space in your bag.
Airpods
If you haven’t given into the hype and bought AirPods yet - I would totally consider it. I carry them everywhere I go, and have them attached to my keys.
Sunglasses
I cannot even explain how many times i’ve been having an “ugly day” and I whip out my Desi Perkins x Quay aviators and they save the day.
Lipgloss
The minute you put on clear gloss - no one can tell you sh#t and I swear that’s the truth! The essence clear glosses from ulta are only $2, so stock up.
